    When I try to perform an insert statement I quite often get type errors.
    What is the correct syntax to insert data in kdb? How can I find what column is wrong?

    q)quote insert ([] date:2013.06.30 2013.06.29; sym:`A`B; time 09:30 09:30; size:11 9; cond:”BC”; bid:1.; ask:1. asize:90;
    bsize:99 100)
    ‘type
