    Hi,

Are there libraries available to extend the basic functionality of q?
Or is there more documentation on what math functions kdb does provide?

I normally work with R and in comparison kdb so far has been a bit bare bones.

The latest version of the qml math library was released a short while ago:

Alternatively some people write wrappers around the Numerical Algorithms Group (NAG) libraries to use them from kdb+

Though you could import any C library really.
