TimeStored builds internal software used by financial firms to turn proprietary time-series data into durable internal applications.

The company was founded after more than a decade of building and operating time-series platforms inside banks and hedge funds.

During that work, our founder led teams delivering shared data platforms to quant groups across FX, commodities, and equities. Each group was independently trying to build internal applications using notebooks, dashboards, and bespoke frameworks. Vendors were evaluated, but none were designed for multi-database financial environments or applications expected to live for years.

This led to duplicated effort, fragile systems, and growing internal platform teams built out of necessity.

QStudio emerged from this environment and became a widely used SQL editor for time-series databases in finance. It helped individuals explore and understand their data.

Pulse was created to address what comes next. Pulse is an internal application runtime that allows teams to turn analysis into long-lived internal applications without building and maintaining a bespoke platform themselves.

TimeStored remains deliberately focused on financial time-series systems, embedding hard-earned judgment into how applications are built, maintained, and trusted over time.
